TRANSNATIONAL GAP ANALYSIS NAUTICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND MODAL SHARE PROMOTION- The main objective of this document is to identify the existing gaps at transnational level in the Danube Region with regard to the mandatory implementation of the EU Directive on the recognition of professional qualifications in inland navigation, based on the 8 national reports on gap analysis and impact evaluations performed in 8 Danube riparian countries: DE, AT, SK, HR, RS, HU, BG and RO. In addition to above countries, the gap analysis on nautical qualifications was also performed for Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
